My Everyday Make Up Routine

Hi frenzynators!

Today i'm going to give you my brief make-up routine, which i stick to most of the days. This is what works for me, so it might not necessarily work for you. To find out what products i use, read whole article :)

I have an oily skin, which is not sensitive at all and is pretty clear most of the time, but i do get some spots/breakouts when time of the month arrives, which do take FOREVER to dissapear and leave red marks for ages. So what i use most mornings to wash my face with is this little helper.

Witch Oil Control Foaming Face Wash. I find this helps to keep my skin a bit less oily and less shiny than it would have been if i didn't use it.It leaves my face clean and doesn't dry it out. It however does not work from the fisrt use like the bottle says, but it worked pretty well after like a week of using this product.

The second product i use is L'oreal Skin Perfection Day Moisturiser. It does exactly what is says, leaves my skin soft, it did even out my skintone after few uses . The thing i like about this moituriser is that it doesn't make my face overmoisturised and shiny like other face creams (if you have oily skin you know exactly what i'm talking about). As it works so well, i'm quite temted to go and make a cheeky purchase of the Serum as well.

(very sorry about this nasty looking pic, but i am in need of a new purchase)

As a primer for my face i use Benefit Porefessional PRO balm, which is quite on a pricey side but it lasts a really long time. This is meant to minimize the appearance of pores, which i would say it does. It also makes the applying of foundation 10 x better and smoother.

I do SUFFER from very dark circles under my eyes, since i was a kid, so for the concealer i switch between the two at the moment (or use both of them, depends on a darkness of my circles) and these are Maybelline New York Fit Me! concealer and Revlon Photoready Concealer. I do like them both but they're not amazing. The revlon one does the job but doesn't last very long, so i have to reapply it throughout the day, and for the Maybelline one, it leaves creases. So i think i'll be hunting for a new one (if anyone has any suggestions, leave them in the comments)

For the foundation i use Mac Pro Longwear SPF 10 Foundation in NW30 at the moment. I find that i have to switch between foundation shades soo much throughout the year as i do get very tanned in summer, but this is my winter shade. Lasts a long time after application and has a good coverage with a little amount used (which i like as i hate wearing a lot of foundation), but it is buildable so you can get more coverage with it if you wanted to. For the powder i use Mac Mineralise Skinfinish Natural in shade medium dark. It is really good and sets the foundation which for me with oily skin is very important. But i do find that whenever i use it for a longer amount of time, i have to switch to something different for a while, as it doesn't look the same.

I then go ahead with the blusher. My favourite at the moment is Bourjois Blush in shade 10 Chataigne Doree (i would not attempt to say this EVER). This blush does the job, doesn't leave the cheeks in 'unneautral' shall i say, tone but it isn't very pigmented. Which works for me, i really liked the shade of it, as it goes well with my skintone.

For my brows i use L'oreal Superliner Brow Artist in a shade 03 Brunette. This pencil is THE BEST (if you're going for a cheaper drugstore option like me) It has two sides one for drawing the eyebrow on, then you shape it with the brush and to finalise the look, the other side has a wax like pencil which sets your brows and make them last longer, without smudging. Really glad i found this.

For my eyes i normally use Mac eyeshadow in a shade Vapour/Velvet for all over the lid (this is even good to use for highliting under the brows). I then use any brown shadow i have at home for the crease and outter corners of my eyes (sorry i haven't photographed this but i have so many brown shades and most of them have no names on them). For the eyeliner i use Bourjois Effect Smokey Eye pencil (HERE) in smoked brown. Yes this may be weird for some of you but i just don't find the black eyeliner as suitable for my face. This pencil is great as it has got a soft brush smudger on the other end of the pencil which gives an eye a softer look. And for my lashes i have been using L'oreal False Lash Flatter forever... (big fan). It's just the best mascara i came across to and i stuck to it ever since!

For the lips i'm using Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in 018 Addiction and Rimmel Lasting Finish - Kate Moss liptsick in 08. Love these two shades together, spesh now for the winter time, very subtle and vintagey looking...

And this is the finished look :D ehmm ehmmm ... Very sorry for the quality of the pics but i don't bring my camera to work, so for now... deal with the iPhone snaps :P Hope you enjoyed this article, and i'm going shopping on Sunday so i will have a HAUL for you guys at some point.
